New this year, students are NOT required to wear all black during their adjudication. Instead, students are encouraged to dress simply and professionally. 11. Students are not required to stay in their event room for the entire competition. However, they are welcome to observe any event, as long as they enter the room BEFORE a performance/presentation has begun. 12. It is strongly suggested that all students arrive to their event at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time. 13. Each room featuring Musical Theatre events will have a Blue Tooth speaker with auxiliary cord. 14. Student ratings (Superior, Excellent, Good, Fair) are determined by averaging the scores from all 3 judges. All rubrics include 5 categories with up to 4 points, totaling 20 maximum points. 15. Any Thespian(s) who receives a Superior rating will qualify to compete at the International Thespian Festival and are required to perform the same piece at the International Thespian Festival. 16.
