Covid-19 Policy as of July 31, 2021
Our current policy for Covid-19 and the Kansas Thespian Festival 2022 is as follows:
All individuals, regardless of vaccination status are required to wear masks at both Century II and Hyatt facilities. This includes all workshops and performances.
Exceptions are as follows:
Kansas Thespians will not require proof of vaccination or negative covid tests, but ask that masks are worn by all participants. It is up to the individual school and district to determine if students should attend.
For the safety of self and others, please encourage all students and adults who are feeling sick to stay home . Due to contractual obligations with the Hyatt and Century II, no refunds will be given to conference participants who cannot attend conference due to illness, or schools or school districts cancelling participation in the event.

Some policy additions may occur if Sedgwick County or the City of Wichita should enact a health mandate.

- When seated and actively eating or drinking
- Individuals may choose to remove masks during their performance for Thespys, One Acts, Senior Auditions, and Mainstage performance, but only while they are performing. Masks should be on until they enter and placed back on directly after exits/finishing performance.
